An outstanding read - an absolute must have! This truly is an amazing book. I love the way that Tom Rawls poetically describes the Church as the bride of Christ - wonderfully inspirational.
Tom Rawl's inspiring book is just what we need for the 21st century church today.
Tom shows us what our church should and could look like in today's society. He writes in an inspiring and very readable manner, explaining concepts that we can all make our own to become the drop dead gorgeous bride of Christ.
A passionate and inspiring glimpse into all the church of the future should be. Pastor Tom Rawls articulates and communicates with great clarity, inspiring the church across Europe to rise up and be all that it can through Christ. Tom's heart and a life-long love and commitment to the church is expressed page after page.
This book certainly lives up the hype that surrounded its release! Tom Rawls' radical insight into what the church should be like is certainly a challenging, and very inspiring read. For far too long, the church, particularly in Europe, has been compromised, undervalued and mistreated and Tom powerfully draws attention to what the bible REALLY says about the church and how we can make sure that the church is valued as it should be! I just hope that everyone has chance to read this book!
The church. Boring, irrelevant and anti-everything, some of the words that i would ONCE have used to describe church, and this coming from a kid who grew up there. Growing up i always dreamed of a church that was passionate, lively, relevant and worth being part of. This is exactly the church that Tom, through his years of hard work and experience, is building and brings to you in the pages of this book.
The church IS the hope of the world and it is Tom's passion to see her restored to her rightful place. His passion for the local church is evident and contagious not only in the pages of this book but in all that he does.
